BRU wanted an additional ordering channel it controlled, alongside the delivery platforms. OPEN connected menu, cart, customer accounts, PromptPay payment, delivery details, staff workflow and direct fulfilment into one owned system.
Orders flow straight into the way staff already work
The client asked for a basic online presence to support an established physical store. We challenged that brief and recommended online ordering instead, because it could reach customers well beyond the local catchment without disrupting the shop. The store carried on trading as before, and the new channel opened the range to customers across Thailand.
Original brief questioned before any build began
Several of these projects are businesses we run, fund and staff ourselves. That means we have done the payroll, taken the orders, handled the refunds and sat with the reports. Operating our own businesses means many of the problems we review are problems we have encountered ourselves.
